Job Overview

Location: Denton, Texas

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Unit Details

Patient ratio is 4:1, with flex up to 5:1 during staffing shortages
Unit manages stroke patients, cardiac drips, patients on continuous BiPAP, and post-procedure patients
Common equipment includes BiPAP, restraints, Airvo, seizure precautions, bedside monitoring, and telemetry
