Telemetry RN Travel Assignment

Job Overview

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Location: Bowling Green, Kentucky

Contract length: 13 weeks
Hours per week: 36

Unit Details

Unit: Telemetry
Bed count: 36
Patient ratio: 4:1 with cath recovery; up to 6:1, and at times 7:1
Scheduling: Every other weekend
Floating: May float first to Ortho/Med-Surg

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kentucky
Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Telemetry experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Knowledge of chest tubes
Dysrhythmia training

Skills and Clinical Exposure

Knowledge of chest tubes
Dysthymia training
Chest tube insertions
Bedside paracentesis and thoracentesis

Work Environment

Remote telemetry monitors
Alaris pumps
Meditech documentation system

Dress Code

Any scrubs except camo
