Description
ICU Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
- Night shift: alternating 3x12 and 4x12 schedules, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- May float to IMCU/stepdown if needed
- Video interview may be required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Strong CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) skills
References
- 2 supervisor references within 1 year
- One reference must be from the most recent/current assignment
- One reference must be from the second most recent assignment
- Can be submitted with one reference initially
Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements
- 7-year background check
- Wisconsin caregiver screening
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Drug screen within 14 days of start
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- Confidentiality statement
- Badge photo
Additional Notes
- Annual renewal is required for NIH Stroke Certification
- Flu vaccine onsite may involve out-of-pocket costs
