Job Overview

- OR RN circulator
- Scrub experience preferred
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- OR - Operating Room (1.5 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Schedule
- 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Possible alternate shift times: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Onboarding / Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Background check required before start
- Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM check required
- Monthly HHS/OIG check required
- Fingerprinting required within 48 hours of signed contract
- Education verification required
- Primary source license verification required within 30 days of start
- Nursys verification required within 30 days of start
- Core competencies required and updated annually
- Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting and in a similar area to the assignment
- 2 references required from employment within 1 year of start
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask clearance within 12 months of start
- Tdap vaccination every 10 years
- TB screening within 12 months of start
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and drug screening requirements apply
- Flu documentation required seasonally
Notes
- Baseline competency exam in medication and ECG is required for all bedside RNs except OR RNs
- CNOR is preferred, not required
- PALS is preferred, not required for PACU
- TNCC is preferred, not required for ER
- Scrub experience is preferred
