Registered Nurse — Emergency Room
Overview
- Travel/contract position in Metairie, Louisiana
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Patient ratio: 1:3
- Weekend coverage: every other weekend
- First-time travelers accepted
- Teal scrubs required
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Louisiana
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
- NIHSS
- Experience with Epic
Preferred
- Charge experience preferred
Additional Notes
- Must be able to complete required onboarding, health, background, and competency documentation before start
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Background check, drug screen, TB screening, immunization documentation, and annual compliance items are required
- CPI may be completed onsite if not already certified, within 30 days of start
