PT Inpatient Rehab

Job Overview

  • Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation

  • Shift: Day, 5x8 hours, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • Hours per week: 40
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Staffing ratio: 1:14
  • Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts per contract

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Louisiana
  • Physical Therapist (2 years of experience)
  • Physical Therapist experience within the last year
  • BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
  • Current/valid driver’s license, state ID, or government photo ID
  • Resume/application
  • Skills checklist
  • Competency exam
  • 7 years of employment history, if applicable, with explanation for gaps

Experience Notes

  • First-time travelers are accepted.
  • Preferred experience includes trauma, stroke, and ICU.

  • EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
  • HHS/OIG screening
  • Sex offender search
  • NURSYS verification
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen
  • Physical exam
  • Fit mask testing
  • TB screening or chest X-ray
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
  • Flu vaccination, declination, or exemption during flu season
  • CLEAR enrollment for workforce identity verification
  • Photo for badge

Assignment Conditions

  • Traveler may be assigned to an emergency team during an emergency event and may be expected to remain at the facility or serve on the relief team until the event passes.
