Description
Operating Room RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Seattle, Washington
- Start date: ASAP
- Night shift, 4x10 hours, 21:00–07:30
- No call
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- Floating within the hospital is required
- May also be asked to perform charge duties
- Must be willing to circulate all cases and be the only circulator
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Strong Neuro experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Experience
- Experience with cardiac and robotic cases
- Experience with neuro, spine, thoracic, and vascular cases
- Experience across multiple service lines
Schedule / Assignment Details
- Weekend schedule: TBD
- Block scheduling is not accommodated unless otherwise stated
- RTO limit: 1 week maximum
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Work Environment
- High-acuity academic OR setting
- Average daily census: 50–75
- 28 rooms
- Patient population includes orthopedic sports, minimally invasive arthroscopic and laparoscopic cases, robotics, general, GYN, urology, and plastics
Additional Notes
- Pending license not accepted
- Floating to sister hospitals is not required
- Scrubs are provided
- Parking costs $10.26 per day
