Travel RN - PCU

Overview

Specialty: PCU
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Employment type: Travel
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
Hours per week: 36
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

14-bed unit
Patient ratio: 4:1
Equipment used on the unit includes chest tubes, IV pumps, and various drains
No invasive procedures are performed on the unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a Hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of medication drips, central line care, and catch recovery

Work Expectations

Must be willing to float to other units
Every other weekend required
