Registered Nurse — Emergency Department

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

At least 2 years of critical care nursing experience
Specialty certification for the specialty area
ENPC certification

Role Overview

Provides nursing care for patients in the emergency room
Performs triage and prioritizes care based on patient needs and flow through the emergency care system
Handles patient movement, blood draws, wound cleaning and bandaging, medication administration, and supply maintenance
Completes focused assessments of chief complaints in a timely manner according to triage guidelines
Works within hospital policies and the Nurse Practice Act
