Respiratory Therapist

Overview

Travel/contract role in Big Spring, Texas
13-week assignment
Night shift: alternating 36/48-hour nights
Start date within the next 3–5 weeks

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas
Respiratory Therapist (1 year of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience working with Geriatric patients
Experience working with Pediatric patients
Experience working with Neonate patients
Experience working with Infant patients
Experience working with Adolescent patients
Experience working with Adult patients

Certifications

ACLS
BLS
PALS
NRP, as applicable
CHEMO, as applicable
TNCC, as applicable
EFM, as applicable
ENPC, as applicable
NIH Stroke Certification, as applicable
National tech certification verification
State license verification

Health Requirements

Physical exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
TB questionnaire
Measles immunity or vaccination documentation
Mumps immunity or vaccination documentation
Rubella immunity or vaccination documentation
Hepatitis B immunity, vaccination, or declination documentation
Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
Drug test
Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
Initial COVID series
