Description
Labor and Delivery RN
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Everett, Washington
- Start date: ASAP
- 13-week contract
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates are not accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
- NRP
- AWHONN
- EFM
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum experience
Schedule and Work Expectations
- Weekends required
- Floating required to postpartum
- Call not required
- May be called off for 1 12-hour shift per 2-week period
Unit Details
- High-risk perinatal care
- Level III labor and delivery unit
- 19 labor and delivery beds
- 10 antepartum beds
- 30 postpartum beds
- 3 ORs
- 2 PACU bays
- 7-bay triage
- Ideal candidates have experience in facilities with 200+ deliveries; candidates with 100–200 deliveries may also be considered
Additional Notes
- Scrub color: any except reddish orange
- Parking is paid by the facility
- Charting system: EPIC
