Job Overview

Specialty: Surgical Services
Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Rotating day/evening schedule
Hours: 40 per week
Shift rotation required: Yes

Required Qualifications

CVOR Technologist (2 years of experience)
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
Previous travel experience required
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association

Schedule and Call

Rotating shifts include 8-hour and 12-hour day/evening shifts
Call required: 2–4 weeknights and 1–2 weekends per 4-week schedule
No call shift is longer than 12 hours

Clinical Setting

Adult cardiac surgery, vascular, and thoracic cases
High-acuity complex surgical population

Additional Hiring Requirements

Government-issued photo ID
E-Verify or attestation
Background check
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
2 recent verified professional references from managers or supervisors
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit test within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Seasonal flu vaccination documentation required during flu season
Review and sign required facility documents before start
Complete required orientation paperwork and onboarding modules before start
