RN - Med Surg
Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Bryson City, North Carolina
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- One opening
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PICC/CVC management
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
Clinical Details
- Medical-surgical progressive care setting
- Float potential between Swain and Harris Regional on Med-Surg or equivalent nursing experience
- Weekend rotation may be accommodated if needed
- No call required
- Patient ratio: 1:6 maximum
- Adult patient population, mostly 65+
- Must have experience with PICC/CVC management and wound care
Additional Notes
- 17-bed unit in a critical access hospital
- Inpatient, observation, and swing bed services
- No surgeries performed in the building
