Location

• Prestonsburg, Kentucky

Contract

• 13-week travel/contract assignment
• Extension will not be approved
• Local candidates only; must live within 75 miles of the facility

Schedule

• Night shift
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Float required within scope of practice

Experience

• 2+ years of current medical-surgical/telemetry experience
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• AHA ACLS
• AHA BLS
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• 2 references within 1 year of start date, with at least one from a supervisor
• 7-year work history verification
• Driver’s license or state ID
• Physical exam or physician note within 1 year of start date showing clear to work without restrictions
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start date
• Proof of immunity or acceptable documentation for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, hepatitis B, and tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap
• Background check and drug screen required
• Skills checklist
• Employment application/resume with education and work history

Additional Notes

• Orientation is bi-weekly
• Meditech is used for charting
• Latex allergy accommodations are available, but notification is required before start
• Fit mask testing is completed onsite
