PCU Travel/Contract Nurse

Location

Beckley, West Virginia

Contract

13 weeks
Local candidates only; must live within 75 miles of the facility
Extension will not be approved

Schedule

Night shift
12-hour shifts
36 hours per week
Every other weekend required
Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in West Virginia
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
Telemetry experience

Compliance / Pre-Start Requirements

Flu vaccination required; declinations are not accepted
Medical and religious flu exemptions are reviewed case by case
Driver’s license and matching address documentation are required in the submission packet
2 references within 1 year of the start date, with at least one from a supervisor or higher
7-year work history verification
Background check and education verification
Skills checklist
Physical exam or physician statement showing clear to work and free of restrictions
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap documentation
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or documentation
Drug screening
APS/CPS search results for West Virginia

Work Expectations

Float required within scope of practice
