PT Inpatient Rehab

Job Overview

Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation
Location: Pinehurst, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 11 weeks
Shift: Day, Tuesday–Saturday
Hours: 5x8, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Primary setting: Inpatient rehab
Floating: May float to acute care or other like-specialty units
Start timing: Late October

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in North Carolina
Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
Must not reside in Moore County
NPI number required and must be verified before start

Compliance and Onboarding

Government-issued photo ID
Background check covering the past 7 years
EPLS/GSA/SAM check
HHS/OIG check
State license verification
NURSYS verification, as applicable
Two clinical references
Complete application/resume
Skills checklist
Annual orientation safety manual acknowledgement
Annual color blindness testing
Competency exam, as applicable
Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam

Health and Screening Requirements

Physical exam
Tdap within 10 years of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray
TB questionnaire if there is a history of positive TB
Rubeola, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season

Notes

Modules are required after contract signing and must be completed before start
Photo identification must be carried during hours of service to the client
