Outpatient Clinic RN

Overview

• Travel/contract RN position in Charleston, South Carolina
• Specialty: Urology RN in an outpatient clinic
• Shift: Days, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Holidays as needed
• Floating may be required based on unit needs
• First-time travelers are not accepted
• Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis
• Radius rule applies: 60 miles

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Clinic experience within the last year
• 1 year of clinic experience
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ONS/ONCC
• Urology experience
• Experience with Epic
• Must provide a radiation badge through the agency
• Must have 2 clinical references
• Must complete a full application/resume with all PTO, contract assignments, agency names, and no unaccounted gaps
• Must pass required background, education, employment, and work history verification checks
• Must complete required onboarding documents, modules, and health screenings before start

Compliance and Pre-Start Requirements

• Copy of driver’s license or state ID
• Copy of Social Security card
• U.S. work eligibility attestation and I-9 documentation as required
• Annual background check covering all locations lived/worked for the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Education verification
• Physical exam
• Fit test within 90 days of start, then annually
• Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
• TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days of start
• Annual TB questionnaire
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation
• 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• COVID vaccination documentation if available, or declination form
• Color blind testing
• Competency exam
• Medication/pharmacology competency exam
• Orientation modules and first-day instructions before start
• Badge photo required before start
• Radiation exposure attestation if a radiation badge is required for the assignment

Additional Notes

• Scrub color: solid royal blue or white top with royal blue bottoms
• Parking requires a permit and a $20 registration fee for a hang tag
• Guaranteed hours may be affected by up to 1 call-off shift per 2 weeks
