Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Portland, Oregon
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 3:00 AM–3:00 PM
36 hours per week
First-time travelers are accepted

Schedule and work setting

Floating between units is required based on unit needs
May float to postpartum and high-risk antepartum
On-call is required if cancelled
Every other weekend is required
Block scheduling is not required
48-hour schedules are not approved
Expected patient ratios: 1:1 and 1:3

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Oregon
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Driver's License
1 year of Registered Nurse experience
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
Post Partum experience
Antepartum experience

Additional notes

Common to float to other units based on skill set
If floating consecutive shifts, hotel lodging may be offered at additional cost
Parking is free
Epic is used for charting
