Rad Tech

Location

Employment Type

Schedule

  • Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–7:00 PM
  • 40 hours per week

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technologist license in Washington
  • Radiology Technologist (1 year of experience)
  • Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
  • Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification, RT (R)
  • ARRT (R)
  • Enrollment in an ARRT-approved radiologic technologist program

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic radiography exams
  • Apply proper technical factors, positioning techniques, and sterile technique
  • Safely transport, transfer, and position patients
  • Follow department and examination protocols
  • Troubleshoot equipment, perform QA on films and equipment, and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Schedule examinations and review daily schedules for corrections, additions, and cancellations
  • Complete exams, including teleradiology of films
  • Handle paperwork, archiving, and confidential information in compliance with HIPAA

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Frequent/prolonged standing and walking
  • Ability to lift, position, push, and transfer patients
  • Ability to push, pull, or move heavy equipment
  • Manual dexterity and mobility

Additional Information

  • Up to 24 hours of call-off available to the facility at no cost during the assignment
