Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Overland Park, Kansas
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience managing cardiac patients post-procedure
- Telemetry experience
Unit Details
- Cardiac specialty unit
- 26 beds
- Patient ratio: 1:4
- Uses Meditech for documentation
- Self-scheduling
- No on-call requirement
- Floating may include Tele, M/S, and OSS
- New cardiac progressive stepdown unit
Clinical Focus
- Care for cardiac patients post-procedure
- IV medication titration, including cardiac, heparin, and insulin medications
Staffing
- Charge nurse
- Bedside nurse
