Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
Job Overview
- Location: Bay City, Michigan
- Employment type: Temp

- Hours per shift: 12
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (2 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs and level of consciousness during post-anesthesia recovery
- Maintain airway and respiratory function
- Administer medications and fluids for symptom and pain management
- Assess surgical sites, dressings, and patient condition for complications
- Document patient records and communicate with the care team
Attendance Policy
- Absences, late arrivals over 20 minutes, leaving early without approval, or not completing a scheduled shift count as attendance strikes
- Three attendance strikes result in immediate termination from the assignment
