- Scheduled 36 hours per week after the first week of orientation
- No guarantee of hours

Unit Details
- Progressive Care Unit
- 15-bed unit
- 3 step-down ICU beds and 12 telemetry beds
- Typical ratios: 1:4 for Progressive Care, 1:3 for Step-down ICU
Job Duties
- Primary nursing care
- Telemetry monitoring
- Telemetry strip reading
- Fingerstick blood sugar
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
- Telemetry experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Progressive Care experience
- Telemetry experience
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS certification
Floating
- Floats to all acute units in house, including Medical, Surgical/Peds, ICU, and ER
Equipment / Systems
- Meditech charting
- Pyxis medication system
- BiPAP
- Continuous cardiac monitoring
Dress Code
- Scrubs
