13-week contract
Float between Med Surg and Stepdown
Patient mix includes med surg and stepdown
Patient ratios: Days/Evenings 1:4/5; Nights 1:6
Bed size varies by unit

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
Experience administering nitro, heparin, and amiodarone including titrates
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Driver's License
Experience with Epic
Stepdown experience

Preferred Qualifications

Neurology care experience
Oncology care experience
Critical care experience

Schedule Expectations

Required to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
Required to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed

Other Notes

EPIC experience is required
Local radius rule: 50 miles
Orientation is 16 hours
Scrub colors: black or navy
