Job Overview

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day, 3x12 hours
Hours per week: 36
Start time: 6:45 AM
Schedule notes: Occasional float to later start times; weekday schedule varies based on staffing needs
Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center with 45 operating rooms

Required Qualifications

Valid Surgical Technologist license in Colorado
Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
DORA
3 years of OR experience
Level 1 or Level 2 trauma level experience

Schedule Requirements

Must work 3 night shifts per assignment
Weekend coverage is required per unit needs
On-call is required, up to 3 call shifts in an 8-week period
Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required

Additional Notes

Scrubs are provided
Up to 10 RTO days are approved
RTO is not allowed during the following periods:
- September 2–12, 2026
- October 25–November 4, 2026
- November 22–December 2, 2026
- December 20, 2026–January 3, 2027
