Physical Therapist

Job Overview

• Travel/contract role in Kodiak, Alaska
• Start: ASAP
• Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours
• Hours: 40 per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• First-time travelers accepted
• Floating may be required within scope to cover outpatient, acute care, and SNF
• Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
• On-call and weekend coverage are not required
• Block scheduling is not available

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Alaska
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation

Preferred Experience

• Pediatrics
• Adolescents

Assignment Details

• Setting includes outpatient, inpatient, and SNF care
• Facility also provides wound care, lymphedema, pelvic floor, and pediatric services

Housing and Travel Support

• Housing and a rental car/vehicle are provided during the assignment, at additional cost
• Housing is typically a 1-bedroom apartment
• Pets are not allowed
• Additional family members are uncommon and require approval
• Housing must be cleaned at move-out or additional cleaning fees may apply
