Dialysis Registered Nurse
Job Overview
- Travel/contract role
- Location: Oxford, North Carolina
- Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Dialysis experience within the last year
- 1 year of dialysis experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- 2 clinical references
- 7-year criminal background check
- Education verification
- NURSYS verification for RNs
- Physical exam
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Drug screen within the last 12 months
- Annual skills checklist
- Complete application/resume
- Employment eligibility documentation and attestation
- Government-issued photo ID
Preferred / Desired
- ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of dialysis experience preferred
- Inpatient or acute care experience strongly desired
Additional Compliance
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start and at each renewal/extension
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start and at each renewal/extension
- Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap documentation
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation or declination
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
- HIPAA acknowledgement
- Competency exam
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
