Job Overview

• Location: Rio Rico, Arizona
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours
• Hours: 40 per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Arizona
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Experience in a(n) Outpatient setting
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat physical therapy patients
• Supervise physical therapy assistants under a PT plan of care
• Perform injured worker care, return-to-work planning, post-offer testing, work hardening evaluations, functional capacity evaluations, ergonomic evaluations, and job analysis
• Use facility modalities and exercise equipment
• Handle scheduling, referrals, phone calls, billing code use, and communication with referring physicians and rehab nurses
• Support marketing, business development, community outreach, and other assigned duties

• Copy of diploma
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
• Measles, mumps, and rubella immunity documentation as applicable by birth year
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella documentation
• Drug screen within 1 year of start
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season
• 2 professional references within 3 years of start
• Completed application/resume
• Annual skills checklist
