Description
Cath Lab RN Travel/Contract Job
Location
- Bloomington, Indiana
Schedule
- Day shift
- 4x10 hours
- 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Assignment Details
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- On-call required: about one evening per week and every 4th weekend
- 30-minute response time required for call
- Locals accepted
- Candidates residing in Indiana are subject to a reduced bill rate
- Schedule requests and accommodations must be submitted with the application; later requests are not guaranteed
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- 1.5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit test within 12 months of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- TB questionnaire required and updated annually
- Measles immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Mumps immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Rubella immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Varicella immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
- Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
- Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption required during flu season
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
- Background check required within 90 days of start
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check required within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check required within 30 days of start
- Education verification required
- Transcript or diploma required
- Tech certification verification required within 30 days of start
- Competency and compliance documents must be completed before start
