Cath Lab RN Travel/Contract Job

Location

Bloomington, Indiana

Schedule

Day shift
4x10 hours
6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks
On-call required: about one evening per week and every 4th weekend
30-minute response time required for call
Locals accepted
Candidates residing in Indiana are subject to a reduced bill rate
Schedule requests and accommodations must be submitted with the application; later requests are not guaranteed
Must work 2 of 3 major holidays

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
1.5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Health and Compliance Requirements

Physical exam within 12 months of start
Fit test within 12 months of start
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
TB questionnaire required and updated annually
Measles immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
Mumps immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
Rubella immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
Varicella immunity by positive titer or 2 vaccines
Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
Flu vaccination documentation or approved exemption required during flu season
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
Background check required within 90 days of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM check required within 30 days of start
HHS/OIG check required within 30 days of start
Education verification required
Transcript or diploma required
Tech certification verification required within 30 days of start
Competency and compliance documents must be completed before start
