Registered Nurse Circulator

Location: Hermiston, Oregon
Setting: Operating room / perioperative services

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Role Summary

Registered Nurse specializing in perioperative nursing practice during intraoperative surgical experience. Responsible for safe, effective, patient-family centered care in the operating room and other perioperative services. Acts as patient advocate and may be floated to other departments where qualified before core staff is floated.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oregon
• OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• CNOR
• Peri-op 101
• Previous RN circulator experience
• Scrub experience

Additional Requirements

• On-call for the Surgery Unit on a regular scheduled rotation
• CRASE training is required if the travel assignment extends beyond 6 months

• Document nursing care accurately, completely, and legibly
