RN MS/Oncology - Surgical Oncology Unit
Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Aurora, Colorado
- Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
- 36 staffed beds
- Epic charting
- Navy scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience in an Acute Care setting
- Experience in a Teaching Hospital setting
- Oncology (2 years of experience)
- Oncology experience within the last year
- Surgical Oncology experience

Unit Details
- Surgical oncology unit
- Floating is required as needed, including to sister facilities based on facility needs
- Weekend coverage is required per unit needs
- Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6 and may flex based on staffing and unit needs
- No chemotherapy or biotherapy is administered on this unit
- The unit primarily cares for patients with known cancer diagnoses needing surgical interventions, with many procedures and diagnoses related to the abdomen or pelvic area, including gynecologic oncology, colorectal, pancreatic, liver, and stomach
