Endoscopy Tech
Overview
- Role: Endoscopy Tech
- Specialty/Department: Surgical Services
- Shift: Day, 4x10 hours, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Setting: Acute care hospital
- Staffed beds: 75
Schedule and work expectations
- Weekend work is required.
- On-call is required: 1 day per week, Monday through Thursday, and every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
- Traveler must stay within 30 minutes of the facility to respond to call.
- Floating within scope to meet facility needs is possible, though highly unlikely.
- Ratio: 1:1
Required qualifications
- Endoscopy Technician with 2 years of experience
- Endoscopy Technician experience within the last year
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Additional notes
- The role rotates through the scope cleaning and reprocessing room and assisting physicians.
- Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis if within 60 miles.
- Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed.
