Operating Room
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Aurora, Colorado
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours per week
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Unit: 41 ORs, Level 1 Trauma Center
- Ratio: 1:1
Schedule / Float / Call
- Shift starts may occasionally float to 8:45 AM and 10:45 AM
- May occasionally float to nights, up to 3 shifts per contract
- Weekend coverage as needed
- On-call as needed, approximately 3 shifts per 8-week schedule period
- May float to other UCH ORs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Colorado
- OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
- Experience with Epic

Additional Notes
- Guaranteed hours: No
- RTO limit: 10 days maximum
- RTO not allowed during these periods:
- September 2–12, 2026
- October 25–November 4, 2026
- November 22–December 2, 2026
- December 20, 2026–January 3, 2027
- Candidates who completed a full year on assignment should not be rebooked for at least one year
