Ortho RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45–19:15
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
- Ratios: 1:5–6
- Every other weekend required
- Float within scope
- Locals not accepted; local radius is 75 miles
Unit Details
- 30-bed ortho/spine unit with medical overflow
- Scrub color: Navy
- Documentation system: EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Oklahoma
- Orthopedics experience within the last year
- 1 year of orthopedics experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or RQI or American Safety and Health Institute
- Drivers License/State ID
- Education verification
- Highest level of education must be verified
- 7-year background check
- 7-year work history verification

- Color blind testing
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Fit test within 1 year of start
- Negative TB or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years of start
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
- Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
- Photo for badge
- Fingerprint consent form
