PCU RN
Overview
- Travel RN position in PCU
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Location: Derry, New Hampshire
- Employment type: Travel
- Hours per week: 36
Unit Details
- PCU unit
- 20 beds
- Staffing includes 5 RNs on day shift and 5 RNs on night shift
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- Equipment includes GE cardiac monitoring and Hospira IV pumps
- EMR: Expanse
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in a(n) Acute Care setting
- Strong dysrhythmia recognition skills
- Critical drip experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Pre-post cardiac cath and pacer patient care experience
- Prior HCA experience
Float Scope
- Med Surg
- ICU for border patients
- Emergency Department for ED holds
Schedule
- Every other weekend, or equivalent if staffing needs require it
