RN Emergency Dept
Overview
- Travel RN role in the Emergency Department
- Location: Derry, New Hampshire
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Patient ratio: 1:5
- Unit has 19 beds, plus 6 Hall and 6 Sub-Waiting room spaces
- Weekend/Holiday rotation required
- Does not usually float to other areas
Unit Details
- Staffing includes ED Tech (secretary), AEMT, and Paramedics
- Equipment includes GE Monitors, Lucas 3, Glidescope, EV 1000, and Level 1 infuser
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Dress code: Dark Blue Scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
Preferred Qualifications
- NIH Certification
Clinical Skills / Procedures
- Moderate Sedation
- Central Line placement
- Chest tube placement
- IV insertion
- Lab Draw
- POC testing
- EKG’s
- Respiratory Treatments
