Med Surg/Telemetry (Nights)
Overview
- Registered Nurse (RN) assignment in Des Moines, Iowa.
- 13-week contract.
- Nights, 12 hours per day.
- 1st time travelers accepted.
- Department prefers someone who can and will extend past the initial 13-week contract.
- No blocked shifts.
Unit Details
- Med surg unit with overflow of post-op surgical hips/knees.
- Patient ratio: 4-5:1.
- Bed size: 24.
- Drips: heparin.
- Tele tech unit monitoring: Remote.
- Scrubs: Navy blue, solids.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa.
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
- 2 years of experience in Med Surg / Telemetry.
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
- Experience with Epic.
- Driver's License.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Preferred
- Professional reference/reference check from within the last 24 months.
Schedule / Logistics
- Orientation date: 5/26, no sooner and no later.
- Traveler will be required to float across all campuses.
