Description
Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Overview
- Travel assignment in Orange Park, Florida
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Scheduled in accordance with facility policy
- Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
Unit / Department
- Cardiac Cath Lab
- 370 beds
- 4-10 hour shifts/week
- Floating: support in prep/recovery area as needed
- On-call: 2 call teams and approximately 15-18 days per month
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Florida
- Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience)
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- RCIS or RCES or RT(R)
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ experience acceptable
Clinical Skills / Procedures
- Scrub for LHC/RHC/PCI/STEMI/Peripherals
- Must be able to monitor as well
- Procedures performed: Diagnostic Left Heart Cath, PCI, STEMI, Stroke, Carotid Stenting, Peripheral diagnostic and intervention

Additional Notes
- Ceil blue scrubs supplied
- Newer procedure rooms and equipment
- Dedicated Charge Nurse for flow of day
