Overview

Role Summary

Perform high-quality diagnostic echocardiography studies for inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and surgical patients. The role uses cardiac ultrasound imaging to support the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in Cardiac Sonography, Echocardiography, or Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum one year of Echo Technologist experience
• Echo Technologist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Driver's License
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, pathology, Doppler principles, and echocardiographic imaging techniques

Assignment Details

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Credentialing is due 5 business days prior to assignment start
• Late credentialing will result in a pushed start date
