Cath Lab

Overview

  • Travel/Contract assignment in El Paso, Texas
  • 13-week contract
  • Day shift: 5x8 hours, 6:00–14:00
  • Start time may vary by scheduled cases
  • On-call required, with 24/7 coverage and a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
  • First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Cardiac Cath Lab (1 year of experience)
  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • PALS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting
  • Interventional Radiology experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • None stated

Unit / Clinical Setting

  • Cardiac Cath Lab experience is needed to support STEMI cases, vascular emergencies, pacemaker insertions, Impella insertions, balloon pump insertions, and interventional radiology
  • The assignment includes on-call response with a 30-minute arrival expectation

  • Tdap or Td vaccine required, or declination
  • Negative TB screening required
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella immunity or acceptable documentation required

  • COVID vaccination or approved exemption required
  • Employment application required
  • Facility onboarding and acknowledgment documents required
