RN Post Partum/Mom Baby

Overview

Travel assignment in Salem, Virginia
Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit: Maternity Care Center
Floor: 2 West
Building: Main

Unit Details

9 LDR beds
8 PP/GYN beds
2 OR suites
23 wellborn nursery beds
Patient ratios: 3 couplets per nurse; L&D 1:1 for active labor, Pitocin, and epidural
Typical procedures: Labor & Delivery, cesarean sections, post-partum and newborn care, OBED triage, inductions, midwives

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Virginia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Post Partum (2 years of experience)
Post Partum experience within the last year
OB experience
Nursery experience
OB/GYN experience
Labor and Delivery experience
BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN

Preferred Qualifications

Cesarean section circulator, 1st assist, scrub experience

Schedule

36 hours per week
4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
No call requirement for travel staff

Floating

Within the unit only; does not float elsewhere in the facility
