Case Manager
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Lansing, Michigan
- Day shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- No call
- Floating: may float as a case manager to any inpatient unit
- Weekend requirement: one weekend per month, with a weekend day worked in place of a weekday shift if scheduled
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Locals accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid Michigan RN license
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Acute Care Case Management experience within the last year
- 2 years of Acute Care Case Management experience
- Acute hospital experience
- Epic experience
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- Resume with work history and current 7-year history
- 2 references from previous employers

- High school diploma, GED, or official high school transcript verification is required for non-RN candidates
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement
- Unit-specific competency exam
- Physical exam within 12 months of start, with latex sensitivity noted
- N95 fit test within 12 months of start, updated annually
- Tdap within 10 years of start or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 2 months of start
- Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B immunity documentation or declination as stated
- 10-panel drug screen with THC within 30 days of start
- Flu vaccination or declination, depending on start date and flu season timing
- Sparrow-specific onboarding documents, including Exhibit A, Exhibit B, Exhibit C, emergency contact information, TB questionnaire, iSparrow Individual Access Agreement, and OSHA respirator form
