Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- AWHONN
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor management
- Circulating a cesarean section

Unit Details
- Day shift staffing includes 1 charge or CNC, 8-10 RNs, 1-2 OB techs, and 1 HUC
- Night shift staffing includes 1 charge or CNC, 8-10 RNs, and 1-2 OB techs
- Patient ratios include 1:1 for Pitocin, C-section delivery, and recovery; 2-3 antepartum patients
- Uses GE fetal monitoring
- On-call requirement: 1-2 shifts per schedule
- May float to Mother Baby if needed, and may also be used outside Women’s as a resource only
