RN MCU Float

Overview

Location: West Burlington, Iowa
Employment type: LTA
Shift: Nights, 19:00 - 07:30
Contract length: 13 weeks
Estimated work week: 36 hours, with possible overtime
Schedule: Every other weekend rotation and every other holiday rotation

Role Summary

Provides support for the unit during surge.
Cares for patients in Medical/Surgical, Adult, Psychiatric, Telemetry, and Geriatric populations.
Traveler must self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during orientation to work in this float pool.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Iowa
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of float experience
Float experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS
NIH Certification
CPI/MOAB
Driver's License
Experience with Epic
