Description
Operating Room RN Circulator
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Pratt, Kansas
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 06:30–15:00
- Hours: 40 per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- BLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Orthopedics experience
- OB/GYN experience
Work Setting / Clinical Focus
- OR RN Circulator
- Procedures include orthopedics, GYN, podiatry, general surgery, endoscopy, labor and delivery C-sections
Schedule Expectations
- Call every 5th or 6th weekend
- Call one day during the week

- Government-issued photo ID
- Proof of E-Verify or attestation
- Background check
- EPLS/GSA/SAM screening
- HHS/OIG screening
- NURSYS verification
- Pharmacology exam
- Unit-specific competency exam
- Confidentiality agreement
- Standards of performance acknowledgment
- Agency information sheet
- Training videos completed before start
- First-day instructions provided before start
- Covid vaccination declination form if declining vaccination
- WorkRamp modules completed before start
- Restraints training review and return demonstration
- Suicide and behavioral risk assessment review
- PRN medications training review
- Training acknowledgment form
- Guidelines for appropriate conduct review
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Tdap vaccination
- TB clearance
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, and varicella documentation
- Drug screen
- Flu vaccination required during flu season, with possible medical exemption review
