Schedule

• Days, 5x8
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend hours as needed
• Call required on rotation

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Interventional Radiology (1 year of experience)
• Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
• ACLS
• PALS
• BLS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification with ARNA

Unit Details

• Interventional Radiology department
• 1 IR angiosuite
• 5 IR holding area beds
• Patient ratio: 1:1 in Imaging

Clinical Setting

• Invasive and non-invasive procedures in IR suite, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, and Diagnostic

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Imaging department
• Monitor patient condition and vital signs
• Maintain IV lines and IV skills
• Administer first aid and medications under physician direction
• Assist with procedures in the Imaging department
• Maintain emergency equipment, supplies, crash cart, and emergency drug reaction kits
• Document patient records
• Communicate adverse changes in patient condition or patient care issues
• Coordinate policy and procedure changes affecting patient care
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide hospitality, courtesy, and compassion
