Operating Room RN

Day shift
4x10 hours
7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Role Overview

Operating Room RN
Travelers are expected to work as needed by the unit
Special scheduling requests and blocked scheduling cannot be approved

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Pennsylvania
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
OR - Operating Room (3 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients
Proficiency with DaVinci xi robot (must function independently with no need for refresher training)
Proficiency with DaVinci DV5 robot
Ability to function independently in Robotics specialty
Ability to function independently in ENT specialty
Orthopedics experience
Urology experience
Bariatric experience
ENT Surgery experience
Plastic Surgery experience
Must be able to work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays, or 1 of 2 holidays if the contract overlaps only 2 of the listed holiday periods
2-3 calls within a 6-week matrix, with a 30-minute response time
3-4 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix
Maximum 7 days of RTO
Could care for COVID patients

Preferred

RNs who scrub and circulate
Familiarity with the DV5 Davinci robot
Level II trauma experience or higher

Notes

Tobacco- and fragrance-free facility
Floating as needed
