Medical Surgical

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Kingsport, Tennessee
Night shift: 7pm–7am
Schedule options available: 36/36, 36/48, and 48/48
Every other weekend
No call
Required to float
1:7 ratio
Traveler must live 100 miles from the facility
13-week contract

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

3 references preferred; 2 accepted

Additional Notes

16 hours of nonbillable orientation
General orientation begins on Sundays
Hospital may cancel/call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed for census/resource needs without penalty
Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
