ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Bristol, Tennessee
13-week contract
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:30–19:00
36 hours per week
No call
Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per schedule period
Must live 100 miles from the facility
16 hours of nonbillable orientation
First-time travelers accepted

Unit / Float Scope

Must be comfortable floating to PCU and MS
MS ratios are 1:7

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
Med Surg experience

Schedule / Staffing Notes

36/36, 36/48, and 48/48 schedules available
One shift may be canceled or called off biweekly without financial penalty if census decreases
Additional shifts above the work commitment may be flexed as needed for census/resource needs without penalty

Additional Notes

General orientation begins on Sundays
Clinical nursing student support and education are expected alongside clinical care
