Overview

• Travel/Contract RN assignment in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
• 13-week contract
• Day shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holidays if needed
• Must be willing to float to other Tele floors as needed
• Nurse-patient ratio: 1:6
• Locals considered within a 60-mile radius

Required Qualifications

• Valid Florida RN license
• Two years of telemetry experience
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
• Experience in an acute care setting
• Experience with Epic
• Successful completion of Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks, abuse registry review, and screening for disqualifying offenses
• Government-issued photo ID
• E-Verify documentation
• Proof of name change, if applicable
• Background check within 6 months of start, including all locations lived/worked/in school in the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM check
• HHS/OIG check
• Education verification
• Fingerprinting/AHCA clearance on file prior to start
• Physical exam
• Fit mask compliance
• Negative TB or chest X-ray
• TB questionnaire
• MMR immunity documentation
• Hepatitis B documentation
• Varicella documentation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
• Flu vaccination documentation, declination, or exemption during flu season
• 2 professional references
• Annual skills checklist

Notes

• The role is Tele RN.
• Must float to other Tele floors as needed.
