NICU

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Edmonds, Washington
13-week assignment
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
36 hours per week

Unit Details

Level II NICU admissions / Normal Newborn
Cares for infants 32 weeks or greater
Attends vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Supports CPAP/BiPap, feeding tubes, and syringe pumps
Attends all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
Float required as needed
NICU travel nurses are not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless they already have the skill/competencies

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Notes

All previous perm employees of any affiliated facility must have been separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify for a travel position
All facilities honor active compact license
